Our history

Almost three decades of competence supply

Since 1996, we have been working to meet the resource and competency needs within healthcare, life science, and social work. Today, Dedicare is the largest in the Nordic region for competence supply within these fields. We are present in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and the UK. In Finland, we focus on recruiting for our staffing operations in the rest of the Nordic region.

Our driving force is to responsibly and sustainably contribute to the health, development, and quality of life of individuals by striving to be the best at attracting and offering expertise within our areas.

2022

In March 2022, we acquired the company HP Interim AB, which operates recruitment and consulting activities across the Nordic region in the field of life science. This expansion means that we now also offer recruitment and consulting services within areas such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical technology.

Dedicare takes a further step into Europe in 2022. In October, we acquired the British recruitment and staffing company Templars Medical Agency Ltd. Through this acquisition, we now provide assignments for our consultants in the UK, Ireland, the Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, and other exciting locations worldwide.

2020

We acquire Danish staffing provider KonZenta. We now deliver expertise across the Nordic region and can also offer our consultants assignments in Denmark.

2019

Dedicare opens a recruitment office in Finland, also enabling Finnish doctors and nurses to explore opportunities and work as consultants in the rest of the Nordic region.

In 2019, we expand our offerings and begin providing recruitment services for permanent positions with our clients.

2017

Staffing of preschool educators begins in Norway under the brand Acapedia, and we also take the step towards staffing social workers in Norway.

2013

Dedicare initiates the staffing of social workers in Sweden, which later extends to include psychologists. Through this, we assist organisations in the field of social work with specialised expertise.

2011

Dedicare is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange as a step towards the vision of becoming the largest in the Nordics and one of Europe’s leading recruitment and staffing companies.

2009

Dedicare takes the step and initiates the staffing of doctors in Norway as well. Thus, we can offer staffing services for both nurses and doctors in both Sweden and Norway.

2003

In 2003, Dedicare also initiates the staffing of doctors in Sweden. This means that we become a more comprehensive provider of healthcare staffing services across the entire country.

2002

Dedicare expands across borders for the first time with the acquisition of Active Nurse in Norway. By establishing a presence in Norway, Dedicare can offer an even broader range of engaging assignments and new environments to our consultants.

1996

Our journey begins! Dedicare is founded when we recognise a significant need for expertise in the healthcare sector in Sweden. Our objective is to provide healthcare with qualified nurses and thereby contribute to better and more accessible healthcare for all.

We continue our journey towards becoming one of Europe’s leading recruitment and staffing companies within healthcare, life science, and social work. Today, Dedicare operates in the Nordic region, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, with thousands of consultants on assignments every day.
